What this is. HQ Listening Studio turns a listening script into a finished exam-style recording. Pick the course and question, paste your own Chinese text — or dictate it, or have a draft written for you — check the cue sheet, then collect a mastered MP3 with the narrator cues, the pauses and the second reading, in the studio voices. It can also draft the exam questions and answers to go with your text. This is a closed beta for a small group of teachers: your content stays yours, finished files delete themselves after seven days, and the feedback box at the bottom of the page comes straight to us.

The course sets the reading pace, the pause pattern, how many times each text is read, the narrator wording and the voice pairing.
Pick the syllabus topic, and the studio assigns a concrete situation. It works through unused combinations before reusing one; simultaneous requests can still overlap. Reroll it, or type your own.
Every topic is studied from both perspectives. The personal world is the student's own daily life; the Chinese-speaking communities is doing things where Chinese is spoken.
One of the two is live at a time: type your own and it takes over; clear the box to go back to the assigned one.
This is what will be recorded, in order. The narrator cues and the exam pauses — between turns, between the two readings, at the end — are added for you at the measured exam values. Change a speaker and the timing updates.
